So that would make her "Allison... the Mad Hatter." (Who knew his first name was Allison??? :confused3 )

Looks like whoever wrote "allison" mumbled....

Alice and the Mad Hatter

Alice 'n the Mad Hatter

Allison, the Mad Hatter

:)

Does anyone do the high tea at Palo?

Ang

We have each cruise. It is very relaxing. I will probably book us again this cruise. Any time we can go to Palos makes Jim happy (and I love to eat there too!!!)

Good Morning!

And....I may be in the same "boat" as Irene. My parents want me to come visit (ICK...it's WINTER there!) but because of a wedding here, and a shower, and then Disneyland in March, it looks like the only time I may be able to go up there, would be the same time that I will want to be making all of my reservations/excursions, for the cruise. I can use my lap top there, but I won't have a printer.....do you think I would need one? Or should I just (do it the old-fashioned way) and call?
Basically a minor thing....but still.....

We are too. On that "magic" day we are packing up to take Lisa to a gymnastic meet. Jim will be up early enough to make the reservations, but I think he will want me to join him in the "fun" . That will make for a long day - reservations, drive to Tampa, Lisa's meet, and then celebrate Jim's Birthday. It's too bad they didn't coordinate their schedule with mine better - HA HA HA

Maria - I'll look today and let you know!!!

Thanks Virgil...I think I'm going to have to resort to making a "homemade" shirt. My fault for waiting soooo long.

Thanks again.

There's an annoying Steelers fan in our subdivision who puts his Steeler's flag ABOVE the American Flag on his 20' flag pole in his backyard (which faces the main road)... would you like me to steal it for you? (Sorry... I'm patriotic... that drives me INSANE!!!!)

But at least I got a TOP!

That would be great and what do you mean "annoying". We're no different than anybody else....although my DH did say he was going to hand out earplugs to everyone at our Superbowl party.....too bad, na na na poo poo!! Bring it on baby!!! (won't I look like a jerk if they lose??) Don't even think that way.

Maria,
I think kikiKaren referred to him as "annoying" because he hangs his Steelers flag ABOVE the American flag.

I'd be tempted to print him out a list of American flag ettiquite and circle the part where the American flag should be highest of all flags and then annonymously mail it to him!! ;) :stir:

Exactly.

Though, in the last windstorm, his American Flag got destroyed... now he's got his Steeler's flag on top, and a big "smiley face" flag under it... on Sundays, he hangs a huge Steelers vinyl banner on the fence behind his house...

Maria... you need to come here... there is a little pizza joint in town that you'd swear was in Pittsburgh... nothing but wall-to-wall Steelers fans. We see them heading in there on our way home from church... even when they are the 4PM game!!!

As I not-so patiently explained to dh when the Cubs made the playoffs a few years back - I'm not annoying, I'm passionate about my team...and there's nothing more annoying than very passionate Cubs fans - Well, maybe the 2 or 3 die-hard White Sox fans... :teeth:

Ooops, I just remembered that our wonderful, nice, gracious, terrific, awesome, special, super-dooper moderators are fans of that other team...

While the moderators may live in Chicago they are not super big sports fans so you are not disparaging any of our teams. :)

Small disclaimer - we like NASCAR (though even that is being ruined by the rules). So consider me a fan of Dale Jr., Terry Labonte and Kevin LePage!

Hello!

Hope I didn't miss much.......Kelly and I flew to CO Friday morning for her meet. We should have all her meets there. It was her best one yet!

DH and DS didn't go with us....they went to try the new ride at AK on Sat. They said it was awesome!!!!!!!! Can't wait to try it myself.

I guess we're getting close to that "pay-off" date. DH better get those taxes done! :rotfl2:

Cruise question - for those of us that are Castaway Club members, I know that you can make your reservations for all the stuff on ship at the 90 day mark. I have even seen where they say to start at 3:00 a.m. Eastern Time. So how do you count the 90 days. What would be our first date to log on and make reservations. Would it be at 3:00 a.m. on the morning of February 27??
