Darn those guys! They tend to wonder off, never thinking we might get worried. Is Jay the only family member without a cel phone?

:rotfl2: Rolls are sooo reversed in this family - I barely know where mine is, let alone turn it on...He has this argument with me all the time...

Similar situation around here! Remember, you have to turn it on for it to receive calls....... :rotfl2:

I have to admit, hon, you always have yours on. Except, of course, if you're late and I don't know where you are. Then it's turned off. :rotfl:

RachelTori,

I guess I missed when you joined the group. Welcome! I'm Angie. My DH Bruce, DD Emily & DD Ashley are all first time cruisers. Just curious ... where is Grayson, GA???

Hi Guys, still not having much time to check in and keep up. Hopefully after this weekend things will quiet down a little. We have a big football game tonight at the high school that is a must win. We are currently tied at 6-1 in our district 5A. Tomorrow is an all day band competition with about 30 high school bands at NMSU in Las Cruces. Kevin and Diana -- I am sure we will see some Albquerque schools there. I think I saw some on the list.

Anyway, hope everyone has a great weekend.

Hi, Angie! Yes, we just joined the group last week. I know everyone's been concerned about you and we're all glad to hear you're on the mend. :cheer2:

We lived in Marietta for 17 or 18 years (I lost count!) and just recently moved over here to Grayson. I had the same question - "where's Grayson?!!!" We are in Gwinnett County - bordering Snellville, Lawrenceville and Loganville. We actually have a "Lawrenceville" mailing address because the Grayson P.O. can't handle all the new subdivisions! The most important thing I've learned since moving here: There is NO easy way to get ANYWHERE from here!!!

Glad you're feeling well enough to visit the boards, Angie. :wave2:

Scoopie's adventures continue....as he experiences a taste of the Orient.

This is Emperor Scoopie as he surveys his realm. He is looking so rich and regal. Perchance he is remembering the Sake of September??????

And the Zen of the Scoopie's peacefulness continues as he relaxes in Singapore - Stop and smell the orchids! You can't see me, I'm hiding....

I survived as the room mother for the harvest day party today. Last time I'll have to do any room mother duties!

And thought I'd pirate: a TOP while I'm at it.

What did you end up taking to the Harvest Party.

Slow Day at work - Storm Stress has set in....we don't know what Monday will bring as we are on the east coast....the waiting is the worse and no one to talk to on the boards.

Still trying to get some work completed......

Fran - stay safe.....Keep Scoopie Dry :sunny:

Here is to better days.....and someone to talk to on the boards. :goodvibes

Well, since the theme was corn/grain, we had corn muffins, corn nuts, popcorn balls and krispie treats. We played bingo with corn/beans for markers, played a game where they had to toss candy corn into a cup tied onto teammates waist, and paired them off to do the mummy wrap with toilet paper. They guessed how many candy corn/toys in a mug, too. It was enought to use up 45 minutes.

I just can't imagine what it would be like to wait to see where Wilma is going to hit. It sounds as if Cozumel is really getting pounded right now. Hope everyone there stays safe. I can still picture that beautiful coastline and the downtown shops.

The waiting is terrible......the general mood of everyone that is not working directly with the public - selling groceries etc - is down.....Trying to decide - do we come in Monday or not.....take the office apart of not....

Much rather play Harvest Games.

Let me see - the theme is corn/grain - I know MOONSHINE...that should occupy my time for a while....
