Now that I have blabbed through an entire page...better re-cehck the storm postings....Oh well, at least I helped us on a start to 15,000....

See ya!

:flower1: Good morning cruisers! :flower1:

Happy Wednesday!

Congratulations to Stacey for post #14000 and reply #14000!

Good morning all! Don't think I'll have time to wade through all of the posts from last night - busy night! I guess it was mostly fluff on the race to post #14000!

Kikipug, you probably wouldn't want to know some of the things I've eaten before. Being from Cajun country I've eaten some things that gross a lot of people out. I can't say that I've ever had swamp cabbage but I'd be willing to try. I'll try anything once.

First coat of red paint is on the dining room walls. It's probably going to take a 2nd and 3rd coat. DH is not looking forward to that! I'm sort of suprised that the color makes the wall height look even higher and that's not something that we needed in that room. Oh well! The color won't be changing any time soon. Once we're done I'll snap some pics and post (if anyone is interested).

Hope everyone has a great hump day!

OKAY Irene, remind me please, when you will be at the F&W fest? I will be there 10/21 thru 10/25.....(PS how do you do it when you reply to everyones posts in one mega post? Do you take notes??LOL):teacher: :teacher: :teacher:

We will be there too. Matt has a TWD tournament at WWS so F&W will be part of the day on 10/21

Stacey, Congrats on hitting the milestone. I just couldn't stay up any longer!

Angie, YES! I want to see pictures! When it's done, please share. Don't forget to sneak a hidden Mickey into the room. In most of the rooms we've redone we have a hidden Mickey somewhere in there.

A busy day for me today. Cramming school into the morning only b/c we're hitting the science museum this afternoon. Mike is off and the Titanic exhibit will be leaving soon. Nick and I have already seen it, but Mike and KT have not.

See ya all later....

On a serious note.....when I signed on, I was a bit down in the dumps. Long day, and things just didn't go well.
After I read the four or five pages that you all posted....and your funny :rotfl: pictures....I felt much better. Thank you! Maybe I won't run away afterall!

I must add my thanks to all the laughs from last night... though I ended up having to bail after a series of awful phone calls. The week started off terrible with Ray's former boss, mentor, and close friend passing away at 42... Ray is headed to NH for the funeral tomorrow, and is devastated. Yesterday got worse, when one of my employees was in a horrendous motorcycle accident on his way home from work. While DIS'ing to keep my mind busy last night (you guys were doing a great job at keeping me occupied), we started getting details from the surgeon... and its not good. Prayers, pixie dust, and a miracle are all that can help now. He has a 3 yr old and a 7 wk old baby...

So here I am, in the office, with no desire to work, so I'm trying to catch up where I left off last night... please keep being crazy... I need it today- thanks.

They're going to be in Phoenix on Saturday, in concert with Earth, Wind and Fire.

Go, Go, Go!!! It was an awesome concert!!! Over 3 1/2 hrs - Chicago has more original/later years band members. Bill Champlain's voice is going on the high notes, he has a hard time leading Peter Cetera's songs. EWF has the main 3...Phillip Bailey still sings strong. EWF has a new album coming out in September.

Chicago played some of their love songs - but, for the most part they rocked...

I bought Chicago's "Love Songs" CD last month- it is a great compliation of their ballads. And they also included 2 of the songs recorded live from the 2004 EWF/Chicago tour.

Finished up all the pages, thanks for the laughs...Not sure who is too much time on their hands, those who post or those who wade through all the pages to catch up.. :rotfl2:

Safe travel to Ray and pixie dust and prayers go out to Karen's co-coworker and family...Give loved ones an extra hug and take time to tell them how much they mean to you today!

Congrats to Stacey for that milestone double sweep - post and reply!

Many, many prayers.....more prayers and an extra dose of pixie dust. A 3 year old and a 7 week old need their Daddy, please, please God, let him pull through.....

Do you mind giving out first names? I know God knows who I'm referring to when I say "kikipug's dh's old boss" but I try not to be too wordy. :)

Being that I was one of the posters, I must firmly say that it is the READERS who have too much time on their hands. ;)

Mike is Ray's former boss; Matt is my co-worker... thanks for the concern... I really appreciate it.
