Yes, I have! But that suit will not be around much longer, plus this way I could move that from the 3mil to a 5mil, etc.

It's typical southern California June gloom here this morning - looks a little thick - hopefully it will burn off sometime today. It's a cool 57 degrees and I'm off to meet a girlfriend for a six mile walk. Ken's attempting to sell our third car - a Jeep Wrangler - any takers out there. It's not something he's looking forward to do. He's hoping someone will just walk up and hand over the asking price. Other than that - no great plans around here this weekend. I'd like to work on our Panama Cruise scrapbook - sure is fun to relive the memories. Hope everyone has a great weekend.

I'll have to try Kevin's idea about the bottle brush. Anyone else have any other ideas? Ok, this will sound GROSS. We really are clean people, I promise! We don't use our jetted tub much. We're shower people. And when we do, usually don't use the jets. Water sits in the jets; so if it's a while before the next time you use it, black crud (aka mildew) comes pouring out of the jets. Now I can't stand the thought of using the tub. DDs like using it because it's like a swimming pool but I just think it's gross. I have used a little bleach before to run through the jets but the website that wasn't really recommended because it could wear down some of the inner parts.

Ang, the same thing happens here even if I have just cleaned the darn things......it is enough to make on esick to be sitting in a nice warm tub and turn them on and that stuff comes out!! BLECH. If Ithink I want to use them, I fill the tub 1st then turn them on, before getting in so I know if it is safe or not! LOL

One of my complaints about this house is that with the great master bathroom that we have, there are no jets in the tub... you guys are making me glad that there aren't!!!!!! Never thought about how gross they could get.

No, haven't heard any more from Stacey. I think she had some jewelry shopping to do in Vegas, so she's pretty busy! There was an article in our paper yesterday that talked about the fire at Cave Creek, said they had turned it away from the homes. So hoping all is OK. I'm sure they are too.

We're home! Had a great flight, but boy are we tired (getting up at 4 am for a 7 am flight will do that). The plan was to go to Milwaukee for the race tonight, but we are just too too tired! So a quick check of the boards and then a nap!

School is out for the Baltimore City children and Nick has been here!!!!!!!!!!!! We went to his swim team practice on Thursday, visited a friend of mine with a pool yesterday and swim meet this am. This is Nick's first year with swim team and today was his 1ST meet. He came in 3rd for the freestyle and butterfly) ). He was disqualified in his best stroke, back, cause he flipped over at the last minute and disqualified in the breast stroke cause he didn't finish with both hands on the deck. He was so excited he really didn't care and he earned points for his team. He gets his ribbons on Wednesday.

Having a jetted tub sounded so wonderful until I found out how nasty they can really be. I'd much rather have a regular ol' garden tub. The other downside of the jetted tub is that the water cools off so quickly. Now, if I had one with a heater on it maybe I'd be inclined to use to more & for a longer period of time. Then maybe it wouldn't get so nasty.

DH grilled a molasses-marinated pork tenderloin tonight. It was YUMMY! I finally bought all of the ingredients to make a creme brulee. I'll try that tomorrow. I also bought a dessert wine to go with it.
