Hmmm....we talked about that too. But it was over burgers and dogs. Not Chinese. I wonder if that makes a difference.

That reminds of a story. We got our confirmations of the future cruise we booked on ship. We booked it for two cabins, one for us and one for Alicia and a potential friend. Anyway, the friend was listed as Miss TBD Eddy. I showed Alicia the booking sheets without any explanation to get a reaction.

She reads the TBD Eddy and says: "What does that mean?" I reply; That's Miss To Be Determined Eddy". Her face gets this confounded look on it and she asks (with some trepidation) if she is getting a little sister.........


No silly, that's for a friend!! She bursts out laughing and jumping around!!

But that first confounded look was VERY funny!!!

Here's a question I've wondered about; What happens when you do a back to back cruise? Do they let you stay on or do you have to disembark and then board again? I can imagine feeling pretty darn smug as everybody else was getting off the ship......

Last I heard you are allowed to stay on the ship. Hopefully you have the same cabin booked so you don't have to pack up your stuff and move!! I believe if you are not a US citizen you are required to get off to go through immigration and then reboard when everyone else gets back on.

I have heard that ALL ship services are totally suspended during that time period so there is no food/no drink/no pools/no service. Great time to do laundry though. And see some of the "behind the scenes" stuff.

Also heard that they blare REALLY loud music to keep the CM's moving.

Could you imagine if a large group of us stayed on between B2B's? DCL might just change their policy.

Hey, THAT'D be a great time for LRC and Euchre and.....TWISTER!!

That would be fun! Alicia and Diana are going to Disneyland on July 13 with the dance troop. They got selected to dance in on of DL parades and perform somewhere (Diana would probably know). Then Diana is flying back, Alicia is meeting me at LAX as I fly in to dive off the Channel Islands of San Clemente and Catalina! We fly back on July 23 (my b-day).

Other than that, nothing special........ Call us and lets get a post-cruise-pre-cruise meet set up!!!

The only problem is that everything is closed so it wouldn't be like a Sea day -- ALthough we could be camped out for the shrimp!

I was wondering the same thing (about if it's a large group staying on- if they'll change the policy). However, if everything is closed anyway- couldn't they just say okay, you big do-over group... you can stay on board but you have to stay in your room or wash clothes so we can clean up the ship- and you won't get your room cleaned today because of it. I could live with that- versus having to pack everything up, lug it off the ship, go thru reboarding, unpacking again, etc. LOL I'd take a nap and just watch off my verandah (if I had one on the side facing the people gettign on?) and gloat gloat gloat... (wait- did I say that out loud?) LOL

I wonder if getting off the ship after TWO 7-day cruises would be doubly as hard as it was to get off the first time after just one 7-day cruise? I'm thinking maybe..

WOOHOO! I have a TOP and sharing it with Monica's "present" of a double cruise.

That must have been the Tamaya Resort in Bernalillo! It is pretty!! We havn't eaten there yet, but that might be nice!!
