$5.00 Barbie & Ken Sets at Target

At first I thought this was a computer glitch, but this is a special promotion Target is running. Barbie AND ken together in a boxed set. I couldnt find them on the Target website, so they are instore only I assume, but I see that Toys R Us has them at $9.99 online. The name of the set Barbie She Said Yes. Apparently Barbie and Ken are "back together" Both come in bathing suits & Ken has a kiss on his cheek. What a great Valentines Day Gift

We're having a Barbie shortage at our house. Last summer I said 1 or 2 could go outside to go swimming. Apparently they all ended up outside and are gross and dirty. I'm annoyed to be replacing, but we have too much Barbie junk to not have something to play with!

Walmart has the same exact sets for $5.00 as well!

I bought four sets... three for VD gifts and one set to open and place in my "Barbie Box" (the huge "girly" box of toys that I have for when our nieces visit/stay).

Just an FYI... these are very cheaply made (but what can you expect for $2.50 a doll). The legs are like "Dollar Store" dolls, a very light/cheap plastic and the arms and legs do not bend.

Ken's hair style is cute and the lipstick mark on his cheek is adorable! Barbie is pretty. They would make a great gift (and I am still giving mine) however they are not real durable, perhaps best suited for a bit older girl that is not rough or would not want Barbie (or Ken) to ride a bike or horse or sit on Barbie furniture.
