4th of July

We are going to Disney July 3-11 and staying at the Allstar Music. We haven't decided for sure if we are attending any of the parks on the 4th. We definitely want to see some fireworks. Are the parks too crowded on the 4th to attend? And where is the best place to see the fireworks? Inside a park by chance? We don't have to be right on top of the location, unless there are some ground displays. We just want to be able to see them and not have to get there 4 hours in advance to have a place to view them.

There will be Sorcery in the Sky presented at the Disney-MGM Studios which is one of the best fireworks displays around. The Magic Kingdom will also have a fireworks display, but it will be much more crowded than the Studios. Oh, MGM was what I was going to suggest as well. Last year we went on July 4th and the park was really not that crowded during the day. I sugguest Sorcery in The Sky as well. You cannot see it any other time except maybe NYE? If you'd like a great view and no hassle getting out of the park here's what we did: About two hours before the fireworks were to begin we lined up in front of the souvie kiosk near the entrance facing the sorcerers hat. The kiosk was closed by this time so there was no problem with standing there. WHen the fireworks ended we were right near the exit and we just walked out and toward the bus stop , we were right on the first bus to our resort with no hassle. This spot is also close to the lavatories as well, so one person can leave and you will not lose your spot. Up until lunch time we really didn't wait more than 20 minutes for a ride. We did have PS's for lunch just in case crowds were bigger than I anticipated. Have fun!

Are there are any good spots to view these fireworks from outside the park? Are they comparable in quality to the ones at MK?
