4th of July

Hello everyone! Our stay at Aulani includes the 4th of July. Just wondering if anyone else has been at this time of year. Do they do anything special at the resort or is their a cool place to go on the island for fireworks? Thanks for any info!

Our visit will include the 4th as well, so I have been interested in this as well. I found that Ko Olina does fireworks that can be seen from the beach at Aulani, but I haven't been able to find if the resort does anything special. Hopefully someone who has been can give more information.

Well that is cool you can at least see some fireworks from there. My kids love 4th of July fireworks so I wanted to find something! Hopefully we will get some responses from people that experienced the holiday ove the last couple of years there.

Aulani does not really do anything special. But from the family infinity pool you can watch the fireworks display. It is a very crowded day at Waikolohe Valley so be prepared. My family and I stayed at Aulani for July 4th in 2014 and with the crowds in 2014 decided to goto WDW in 2015 and experience July 4th in orlando. Way more crowded than Aulani but the fireworks and events were much better on main street.

Yep will be braving the crowds at Aulani that day as well. Can tell you all the cabanas were booked except 1 in the adult pool. At least my kids will have a ton of friends to make

We were there over the 4th of July several years ago. We got chairs on the beach early in the day and just hung out at the beach most of the day. We really enjoyed the fireworks! They were definitely had security checking to make sure you were staying at the hotel. Renting a cabana is a great idea if they let you keep it until the fireworks.
