4th of July

Happy 4th of July everyone!! I'm hoping the rain doesn't mess up my city's fireworks display tonight. Does your city/town put on a fireworks display for the 4th of July?

Mine does! We are doing our own fireworks, that is if this rain lets up. It's pouring outside! Earlier my family and I went for a swim and hung out by the pool, but the Florida sun cooked us when we weren't in the water, so we went in and watch a movie (The Secret Life of Bees. Probably my favorite non-Disney movie). Now, we are just chilling out, and my mom is cooking dinner.
We are setting off our own fireworks and we can probably see the ones going off at the local park from my house!

We are going to shoot some fireworks and watch some of our neighboorhoods fireworks. Maybe just sit out on our porch and have a cookout.

It's me, my mom, my dad, my brother, my sister, my grandmother, my uncle, and my cousin.

And tomorrow were going TUBING!!!! At Cool springs! Sorry, I just added that randomly. Haha.

Sounds really fun. Besdies the rain part. I LOVE the rain. I love to go outsidre in the rain, but I want to have fireworks, so...

Pretty much, fireworks that go in the air are illegal in NC. So, our city normally has some kind of on-the-ground fireworks display. If you go to the bigger cities, though, they normally have permits, and use the big fireworks

We're just using sparklers and popits tonight, which is fine with me

Happy 4th of July!!

My town did fireworks last night, which is weird because it feels like the 5th of July for me..haha.
My town is kinda old fashioned and they never hold events on Sundays.

My town does put on a fireworks "show", but honestly it is a joke. My neighbors shoot off fireworks, so I will probably end up watching theirs.
