I have read postings about watching MGM and Epcot fireworks from the beach and the Yacht and Beach Club. Anyone done it?

Epcot Maybe but you will not see MGM from there.

We had a "so-so" view of the Epcot fireworks from our Beach Club Villa balcony. I think if we were higher up (we were staying on the second floor of the Villas), we would have had a better view. The view won't be perfect though. Ever since Mission Space was constructed, Epcot's fireworks have an obstructed view from the Villas (see pic.).

If you are requesting a view at the Villas (which is not always granted), the “Epcot” view is no longer called an “Epcot” view (as a was told to us by a WDW cast member). It’s considered a “woods” or “garden” view now.

We did have an EXCELLENT view of Epcot's fireworks one night from the bridge on the boardwalk. It was a nice way of enjoying the Epcot fireworks without using up a day on our Park hopper pass.
