4th of July

DH, DD(6) and I plan a visit over the 4th of July holiday. What can you tell me about special events? Fireworks viewing? Will the park be packed? What do I need to know?

It's a busy time of year. The 4th itself is strangely not that busy for most of the day. It's mid-late afternoon that it starts to get packed and people start getting their fireworks spots very early (mid-afternoon usually).
