4th of July

Yeah look for us!

Okay - look for us, too.

Really, just psyche yourself up that it's going to be very warm and very crowded - I usually have myself convinced it's going to be terrible because of the crowds and then we get there, and I find it's not as bad as I imagined.

Plan your must-dos and must sees, and take care of them first, then whatever else you can do will be a bonus. We always have a great time and start making a list on the ride home (to NC) of what we want to make sure we do on the next trip! pixiedust:

We arrived last year on July 6, I expected it to be VERY HOT and VERY CROWDED. It was, but it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. We still had tons of fun. We used FASTPASS as much as possible. I don't think we waited in line more than 20-25 minutes for most attractions...except Peter Pan :(

remember most parks are open later, so plan on taking a break in the middle of the day. It is hot and crowded but if you know that ahead of time and you use fast pass and try to cool off in indoor stuff or take breaks you will do fine. Sometimes you can't do it all because of the crowds, rain but if you plan what you really want to it should work out fine for you. Also make your dining reservations ahead when you can, that will help you plan your day and get out of the heat. If you plan to do any of the water parks this is also the busiest time for them, so go early, because they will close when they reach capacity. I am a teacher and can only go in the summer, but we plan and go and love it. Don't let that stop you. have fun :thumbsup2
