4th of July Fireworks

I am wondering if anyone could recommend whick park puts on the BEST SHOW!

I am leaning towards MK but would love to here from others

I think Epcot does!!!! The extra 10 mins of fireworks were fantastic last year. There were so many of them. They also projected images on the ball and it was beautiful.

I also think Epcot puts on a wonderful fireworks show!!! We've gone a few times for 4th of July, and we always go to Epcot!!!! Last year's show was absolutely breathtaking!!!!!!!!!!

I've only been in the MK for the 4th, but I would probably also suggest Epcot. That park holds far more people comfortably, while the MK gets... Mind you, the fireworks from all around the park surrounding the castle are absolutely amazing. But the best fireworks I've ever seen were in the holiday tag to Illuminations. And the projected images on Spaceship Earth were incredible. I could see them from my room at Pop Century! But I don't think there is any way to go wrong here. (Well, except Animal Kingdom. ) But keep in mind that the rides will be too crowded to be "worth it" for most of the day. Just focus on enjoying the ambiance and the fireworks, and you'll have a great time!

We were at MGM last 4th.
I would like to go somewhere else this year on the 4th. Epcot sounds good.

We were at Epcot last year on the 4th. Not only were the crowds bearable, it was without a doubt the most spectacular fireworks display that you will ever see!

Hmm, we were planning on watching the MK fireworks again this year, but I keep thinking about trying Epcot...

If you are staying at an EPCOT resort - I would do EPCOT 4th of July fireworks - you can walk back, in 5 -15 mins.

If you are staying at the Contemporary - I would do MK 4th of July fireworks. You can walk back in 10 minutes.

If you are on a monorail resort (Contemp, GF, Poly) - I would do MK 4th of July fireworks. Hang in MK for 20 mins and them monorail back to the resort.

If you are staying at a resort which only has bus transportation - I would bring extra money and stay in the park 40 minutes after the 4th of July fireworks end and have a late night snack.

If you have young children and only bus transportation - I would try to find a taxi back to the resort. Cost about $20.

IE - 4th of July is magical - but crowded - find your best transportation option back to your resort and then decide which fireworks to view.

I did not mean to leave out MGM STUDIO - Fantasmic dinner package may be a great option. But it's boat or bus transportation. Back to the S/D, BW, Y/BC, if can be a 20 minute walk back from MGM STUDIO. Again you could do shopping after Fantasmic and leave park 40 mins after the fireworks.

AK - no fireworks - it would freak out the animals
