4th of July Fireworks Viewing Options

We will be at MK for the July 4th fireworks on July 3rd, then staying for the late emh. We did this a couple years ago, and the park actually wasn't too bad until late afternoon, but all of mainstreet and anything remotely close to the hub was shoulder-to-shoulder for over an hour before the fireworks. We love fireworks, and are used to crowds, but that was simply not enjoyable.

We are looking for alternative viewing locations in Magic Kingdom. Unlike HEA, I don't think there are a lot projections in the July 4th show, so we don't need a front view of the castle. I know they launch from all around the lagoon and are best seen from the hub, but I would be fine with a location viewing at least 60% of the show, especially if we can spread out and sit or lean on something. We considered the dessert party, but it seemed a bit excessive for our party of 9! So, what would be the best options for viewing elsewhere in the park?

I remember seeing Wishes from the planters in front of Tomorrowland Speedway many years ago. Should this work for the 4th of July Fireworks or would trees block most of it? Any good spots in Frontierland or back by Dumbo?

Also, is there a way to confirm that the music will be piped throughout the park?

1. Correct.
2. Just for the grand finale. Most of the show is shot from the same locations as Wishes and now HEA.
3. No promises. July 3 & 4 can be busy "everywhere."
4. Likely sold out by now, anyway.
5. If you liked that spot, it's a choice.
6. Yes. On the map below in the upper left corner I've marked the "Wooden Bridge"
that's a pathway to Splash Mountain.
If you stand on the southern third of it, you can see the fireworks pretty well.
The angles are very different from those from Main St., of course.
7. The audio is played virtually everywhere in MK.

Thanks Robo, I thought about just sending the question direction to you, but thought that might be a bit presumptuous :worship:

Has anyone else watched Wishes or any of the other fireworks shows from Tomorrowland or Frontierland in recent years? Any thoughts or experiences to share?

I accidentally watched HalloWishes from back by the Carrousel a couple of years ago. It was pretty cool because a lot of the fireworks came up behind you. First choice is still out on Main Street by Casey's.
