We will be in Orlando during the 4th of July holiday, but not doing Disney this trip. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to go for fireworks?

I know US will have some and Sea World.

I am deciding which park I want to be in for the July 4th holiday myself. I thinking US because it has rides and citywalk.

If you want to venture out on a day trip, take a drive to Madeira Beach, alittle past Tampa Bay. It's a small town but the fireworks on the beach are the best in the world. From the beach, you can see about 3 different cities fireworks, plus individuals set them off right from the beach. It is non-stop, everywhere you look fireworks. We always go some place different for the 4th, but this is the best hands down.:worship: :worship:

Seaworld was sounding appealing. I'm doing Disney for July 4th but my family opted to go to Seaworld that day. They have a nice "Seaworld After Dark" thing going on at night which sounds good. Plus they have a July 4th Picnic to boot (thought you gotta reserve online beforehand at seaworlds site)

I would imagine you could park at the boardwalk, walk onto the bridge that connects to Epcot & watch them right there from the bridge.

I know this is still Disney, but it's not a Disney park! The fireworks from the water between Downtown Disney and Saratoga Springs Resort were fantastic last year. We were staying at Saratoga Springs and one of the fireworks barges was right in front of our room in the Congress Park section so we watched from the balcony. You'd have a great view from along the waterfront along the Marketplace, Pleasure Island or the Westside. Or you could walk over to Saratoga Springs and watch from that side.

Yes! Take a trip down I-4 to downtown Orlando. They have a beautiful firework show downtown on Lake Eola, shot up over the lake between all the high-rises. There are tents around with food, etc, and it will give you a chance to actually experience a little bit of Orlando outside of the Mouse.
Here's a VERY short clip I found on YouTube:

Hope that helps!
