4th of July Celebrations

Why has Disney not announced the 4th of July celebrations yet? Its less than a month away and we still don't know when the fireworks are and at which park. Yes, I know we can ASSUME MK, DHS, and Epcot will have something between 9 and 10pm. But why won't Disney make it official and post the times on their website?

Frustrated that Disney 'forces'/encourages people to plan so far in advance and yet they can't post a simple fireworks time for a major holiday? Have I simply missed something?

Also, will FP be available for MK firework viewing? When we booked our FP at the 60day mark it was not an option to even book.

I don't think FP for fireworks will be available the 3rd or 4th due to the sheer number of people cramming into the hub and Main Street. Even though the schedule isn't posted, plan on the MK fireworks at 9 and Epcot's at 10.

There are no FP+ for Fireworks at MK on July 3 & 4th. It says Wishes is closed for refurbishment that day, because it isn't Wishes they're showing it's the special 4th of July fireworks show. I was a little disappointed to realize that. I would plan to stake out a spot at least 2 hours early if you'd like to be directly in front of the castle, I've seen people on these boards and others saying they're planning on getting a spot between 2-4 hours in advance. I'm assuming there were FP+ available for Illuminations on July 4, but when I went to book FP+ for them 60 days out they had already been distributed for the day and none were available. That being said, Illuminations is at 10:00 pm on July 4, you can see that when you view park hours/plans in MDE. The special July 4th fireworks at MK don't have a posted time yet, but the past several years they have always been at 9:00.

There were not FP+ for illuminations afaik. I tried to book at midnight at 60+10 (and it's day 10) and it was not available.

If FP isnt available on the 4th, I wonder how quickly the FP viewing area will fill up that night? Would it even be a good spot to view these special fireworks with all of the perimeter shells going off? Would you even be able to see the ones launching from the lagoon?
