4th of July BBQ suggestions?

We are having a small barbeque this weekend. It's our first little get together we are hosting since moving in together

We are buying a charcoal grill tonight & tomorrow doing some shopping.

Any fun 4th of July BBQ ideas or recipes?

We do not like ribs so those are out.

We have fresh garden veggies for a salad.
**Any good salad dressing recipes?

We are also picking up some angus burgers & some chicken breasts.

What other side items would you recommend?

Grilled vegetables, like peppers, zucchini, corn on the cob (mmm), are a hit around here. Grilled peaches are also delicious.

We do the standard cole slaw, potato salad, baked beans, etc. Strawberry and blueberry shortcake is our standard July 4th dessert.

Grilled peaches...never heard of such a thing!! How do you prepare them??
