4th of July at the Fort

Will be at the Fort for the 4th of July this summer. Are there other activities beyond the parade that day? Also, can kids join in on bikes as part of the parade?

The kids can definitly ride their bikes in the parade...check out some of the past parades on YouTube. I just got home from a long jury duty so I don't have the links for you today, but I'll find them for you tomorrow. The parade is the biggest event at the campground, but its not the only activity that day. There is a post on this forum that lists the activities at the fort on the 4th of July and of course the Great Fireworks! We'll be there over the Fourth and decorating our golf cart for the parade...Maybe we'll see you there.

We'll be there for the 4th as well. TCD posted a July 4th trip report from 2010 and talked about the various activities they offered. I think the title was July 4th at the Fort. I can look for the link.

We can't wait! It's our first time. We'll be in a cabin and are planning to decorate for the holiday as well.
