4th of July at Aulani!

Anyone know if Aulani is good for 4th of July or is it better to be in Waikiki? Thank you!

The Ko Olina Association puts on a 4th of July event right on the beach in front of Aulani. They construct a stage and have entertainment for most of the day. At night, fireworks are set off from the large rock area on the left side of the lagoon. It's great having the festivities so easily accessible, but in our experience, it's the most crowded day we've had at Aulani over many trips. The pool chair situation is challenging on normal days, but it seemed as if not one person left the property on July 4th. Very, very crowded...pool area and beach. Regardless, we had an incredible time. This was all pre-COVID, so I'm not sure if they will continue with that event this year. Perhaps a scaled down version.

Thank you SoCalDCLfan...I appreciate the info. Was hoping COVID would still keep people away but I don't think that's the case

I would love more info on this too. We are thinking about doing it next year.
