4th July at MGM?

How busy is MGM likely to be on the 4th July? We would really like to go over there for the fireworks, but we are at Discovery Cove that day so it would be evening when we arrive at the park. Will the park be likely to close or is it just MK that gets that busy? Any tips for where to get the best views of Sorcery in the Sky, we will have a wheelchair user in our group?

There is a possibility that you will not get in. We were there last 4th of July and the park was closed very early. Best bet is Epcot, fireworks were spectacular!

It's true about maybe not getting in, but the park is open later than normal that day I think. I went to MGM on the 4th a few years ago when it was open till 1AM. After about 10 there wasn't hardly anyone there. I rode RnR 8 times, just got off and right back on.
