4th fast pass help

I was hoping someone could tell me if I’m doing something wrong. I used up my first 3 pre booked fast passes this morning at Hollywood studios (star tours, ToT, toy story mania). I then tried to get a 4th fast pass, there was one available for toy story mania. But when I went to click it a message kept coming up saying ‘already chose this experience, guests may not select the same experience twice when making selections in advace’.

Does this mean I can’t try and get a 4th fast pass for any of the rides I had for my original 3, even if I have used the original 3 up? Sorry I’m just so confused.

You should be able to. Either a FP didn't fall off after use for some reason (see a CM to have that fixed) or maybe you had one of the rides go down and got an anytime FP in it's place?

I just checked and rather than expire this Fastpass has randomly converted to an ‘anytime fastpass’, maybe because the ride got shut down at some point during the fast pass window. Would this explain it?

Yes. The Anytime is a Bonus FP so save it and book a Tier 2 for that person and have him go tap it out. Then, you’ll be able to book FP#4 for everyone.

I just checked and rather than expire this Fastpass has randomly converted to an ‘anytime fastpass’, maybe because the ride got shut down at some point during the fast pass window. Would this explain it?

Yup. So everyone else could get TSMM but that person can’t. Book something for them that’s an immediate FP-like muppets, then have them tap in but don’t go in. Then you will be able to get a 4th for everyone

I was going to say that - that happened to us. When that happened - I just left that person out, booked the 4th fastpass without that person - then went in and changed the fastpass of the person that didn't do the ride to the one we wanted - even after the time ended - if it is still there you can edit it. I did this often this summer. The only issue you will have is if that ride was in a different tier. You can then go to a cast member to fix it.
