4th fast pass coming??

Agreed, they seem to be moving slowly with editing the Fastpass system, and that's the right way to do it. I'm sure the result/impact is different week to week through the year. MK really needs more pre-trip passes. When I was there in February, I stood in some comically long Fastpass lines; that's gotta be looked at too.

I think as more and more ride capacity is allocated to FP the FP lines will not be as short as they've historically been (which in many cases has been described as walk-up). We could be seeing 15-20 minute or longer FP lines on a regular basis.

I could see Disney going to a mostly fastpass system someday. That would logically cause fastpass return lines to get longer particularly on the mid-tier rides.

Maybe you'll wait as long in the FP+ line as you do for some ADR's!
Good point. We have occasionally had fairly lengthy wait times when we've gone to Boma. I guess that ride standby might be similar to restaurant standby too. Ugh.

I don't think you would've been able to repeat an attraction that you already rode/ reserved for your first 3. But I believe you could change your 4th FP+ selection on the app. Problem is, with the parks that crowded what would've been available?

IMO the 4th FP punishes guests who arrive at WDW and aren't aware of FP+. There will be even less of a selection for these people.
I just dont understand how someone could plan an entire trip to Disney and NOT know about FP. These are probably the same people who open their guidemap in the middle of main street and ask their ten family members "So what does everyone want to do?". I have NO sympathy for the people who dont know about FP because even the most basic research would tell you everything you need to know.

Jim Hill was a guest on the Micechat podcast and said that at full build out, when everything is fully fleshed out and all is said and done, that MyMagic+ is planned to give guests ten Fastpasses per day PER park (meaning for park hopping).
I think anyone with even the most basic knowledge of WDW knows that giving every guest 10 FP+ reservations is an impossibility. There is no way they have the capacity for it.

That just makes me discount anything else someone saying that would report.

I understand what you're saying, but there are people who assume WDW is like any other theme park. In other words, no planning required.

My sister, for example, called me for planning advice while they were parking their car at MK.

Multiple posters have claimed that FP plus was implemented to allow everyone to ride the headliner attractions. It prevented FP hoarding. So doesn't increasing the reserved FP' s from 3-4 disprove that theory? I'll bet headline attractions will be scarce, if available for SDFP

Yes it true I'm going tomorrow and have four fast passes booked

Anyone who only gets one FP shouldn't even bother with the Disney parks. There are other attractions in the area that would be much easier to tour.

I think there are far more Disney guests like this than a typical DIS poster likes to admit.

Friends of ours that we'll be meeting during our May trip fall into the last minute/no planning category. They will be buying their tickets at the gate due to unavoidable circumstances. Hopefully the FP situation will work out for them.

4 FP+s booked in advance, even at 2 days out should significantly limit the same day availability. Bad idea, in my opinion.

What I'm interested in knowing is whether you had 3 booked at the 60/30 day mark and were given an extra or 4th, or whether you just booked your fp's in the last day or two ? Im pretty stuck on the facte that those who booked in advance seem to be sol so far. Although there appears to be Disneyspeak saying that a 4th will be provided to those who booked early I'm still waiting to hear from someone who got one that way.

deluxe resorts guests should be given more, tiered down to values and then off site guests get 1. This is a JOKE!!!!
