Here's my dilema:Since DH doesn't want to move next year, he'll have to endure my wrath (LOL) and take me on another cruise. We can only afford to cruise once in 2003. We'll probably move in 2004, so that means no chance of cruising again until at least 2005-unless DH gets a major raise (hint, hint Fidelity Information Systems!!!). My TA told me about RCCL Voyager and Explorer and said that I would be just as impressed with them as I have been with DCL. My only problem with DCL is that we've been 3 times in the past 18 months and have seen the same shows and done the same activities and I wouldn't mind something different. But, I'm torn because I love all the "magic" DCL has to offer and our kids love the childrens programs. Since I won't have a chance to cruise again for several years, I want this cruise to be memorable. Has anyone been on Voyager or Explorer? We have twins who will be 5. What do you guys think??

We just planned our 4th cruise --- after three on DCL we are going on the Navigator of the Seas -- RCCL. I have to admit that I am looking forward to it BUT I DO feel somewhat like a 'traitor'.

and it was wonderful...BIG...but wonderful. Embarkation and debarkation pale in comparison to DCL, service was not as friendly, and I hated waiting for my "color" to be called in order to leave the ship. That said, my son (who was 10 at the time) really liked the kids program and the video arcade on Voyager, but he prefers the smaller atmosphere at DCL. Of course, that might be because he gets a bit more freedom on DCL. LOL
If you choose Voyager, you won't be disappointed, just don't expect it to be like DCL, allow it to be it's own experience.
JMHO.:)
