4E bigger rooms?

I’m confused about these rooms. The website says 299sq ft which is bigger than the standard rooms but 4E says it sleeps 3-4 where the other Cat 4 rooms state they sleep 4-5. Are these rooms actually any bigger? They’re the ones on deck 5 with the extended verandahs next to the life boats.

If anyone has stayed in these rooms I’d also be grateful for pictures

Size includes verandah size.

Yes the size includes the verandah. We were in one of these rooms (5650) on the Fantasy last year and it slept 4, not 5.

Rooms are the same size. How many a room sleeps depends on the beds offered in a room, not necessarily the room size. Not every room in categories that "sleeps up to 5" will actually have bed spots for 5 guests. 4E's have an oversized verandah.

We were in a 4E on the Dream last week. The room itself was the same size as the Deluxe Ocean View category--it did not have that extra space between the sofa and the verandah door where the murphy bed sometimes is--even though it is listed as a Deluxe Family. Our particular stateroom did not have the pull-down either and so only slept 3.
