What summer??? Between all the thunderstorms every weekend and the massive amounts of mosquitoes this year, it felt like we didn't even have a summer! We didn't even go camping this summer because there was not any great weekend to go with all the crazy weather. At least, I don't have to feel bad that I put my son into year round schooling and that he has missed out on hot summer days.

It certainly has felt like winter these past few days. I hope that we end up having a nice fall!

We just got back from 2 weeks in SD/Anaheim/Vegas. It was 105 in Vegas on Wed so this cold really sucks.
As soon as I win the lottery I'm outta here.

I would LOVE that kind of weather. The way I figure it, if you're cold you can always put something on. There's only so much decent society will let you take off. I'm laying here in a lake of sweat thinking 'maybe if I strip off this layer of SKIN I might cool off a little.'

I have noticed that almost everybody who claims to love the heat lives in an air-conditioned house, for some reason. They also tend to keep their thermostats at 20 degrees in the winter instead of, oh, I don't know, 30+.

It was 42c (108F) with Humidex, one hour earlier.

Wow! Our weather here is also completely crazy, crazy hot that is! I'm sitting now typing on my computer, stuck to my leather couch, because it's 32C, 40C with the heat index! We're in hay fever season, a time when I would keep windows closed as much as possible, but now I have to open everything. Now I'm hot & sticky from the temp, I sneeze, have itchy eyes, congested sinus and a slight headache...

Right now I'd probably take your 4C, but I know I shouldn't complain too much, winter will be here soon enough!

Wow! I think we had 3, maybe 4, days of that this summer. For the past week, it has felt like winter - you know that cold feeling that tells you snow is coming soon. I had to break down 2 weeks ago and turn the furnace on - I usually have it shut off for the summer.

It has been zero for the past few mornings and I had to scrap ice off of my windshield on a couple of mornings. I was late to work on Monday because it took a while to get all the ice off.

Enjoy the warm weather - winter comes too quickly. I hope that you guys don't get any of those crazy ice storms this year.

28 degrees here at 9:30. Pool is 85 degrees, I'll take this any day over the snowstorms that will be along too soon. No AC at home or work.

Wow, so glad I don't live in Alberta! (sorry!) But this has been the best summer in years!

Sunny and hot is the way I like it... and while my hair doesn't like the humidity, it honestly doesn't bother me. Our house has A/C so it's almost cold at times, haha. And nothing like a few trips to the community pool either!

Right now it's 9am, 24C but feels like 30

lets see - We got snow late June, had a couple of ice storms in August, now frost for the past couple of mornings. So, 10.5 months of winter this year. yep, I'll take the heat anytime..

Yep summer in Alberta was non existent this year...........cant wait to have a condo somewhere warm and not deal with all this crappy weather. Seems it was a great summer for all but us.........sigh...........

we too just returned from 18 days in San Fran, Anaheim and San Diego so this cold crappy weather really sucks! I was however glad to hear Calgary didn't get all the hot weather while we were away lol....
