48 Hour Sale on Southwest.Com

I've been watching for deals from IND or SDF to MCO. This didn't help me any. Actually, the fares went up from what they were over the weekend. :headache:

Just came to post this. Rebooked my fare and saved $125!! :thumbsup2 Thanks!

Nice! I of course am flying on a Friday and a Sunday so no LUV for me on this one. Still looking at about 300.00 per person round trip from Albany, NY to MCO.

Hate to say it but this may finally be the year Southwest lets me down and I have to look elsewhere for a decent fare.

Tough to swallow 300.00 per person RT when in 2007 I paid 114.00 and in 2008 I paid 145..... :(

They let me down too. I am flying in october on a wednesday and tuesday and still no discount. these fares are only for sept thru nov.

Just checked out dates as well in Sept from Chicago...same price it's been for a couple of weeks.

Had that email from Southwest in my inbox this morning. Rebooked the flights and it saved us $104.00. Not to bad. :thumbsup2

Yep. Checked for MDW to MCO in October and I don't see any sale fares. I also checked for some other destinations (Las Vegas, LaGuardia) and couldn't find any of the promo fares either. :confused3

Still looking for us too - no luv to be found!:confused3
We're flying BUF to MCO on a Sunday and Friday, but two weeks ago we saw a Saturday flight for $59 one way, so grabbed that and booked an AP rate - we at least get to go a day early and it actually saved us about $200 even with the extra night. Too bad it's a later flight and the day is gone once we get there!
Now we just need to go home, and it's on Labour Day weekend for us - cheapest flights are on Air Tran right now, but not when you add our luggage. Just holding out hoping there are some last minute deals, or the $120 round trip I was hoping for like last year will likely be over $300:scared1:

Leaving on A Sat this year & the early morning non-stop from BDL was up over $200 (currently $166). I was able to snag $79 coming back on Wed night but had to move to Delta for the trip down. Lucked out & got $69 down. Even with the $15 baggage fee (just checking 1 bag), R/T for 2 of us $352. My goal was no more then $400 so I'm happy. Now as long as Delta doesn't play with my flight!!!!!

Well I can get $60 flights but I have $130 in SW travel funds that expire in Aug. and I can not get them extended till then and don't want to pay out of pocket till I can extend them and then have to carry another travel fund credit. We just don't fly that much. So I will have to let $320 RT for 2 pass and hope to get a good ding later. This is a hard one to swallow.

Southwest is cheaper than airtran by around 125.00 after bags and seats. But the flight times are better on airtran. Plus southwest will take us a addtional hour drive. Still not sure what to do. Need to think quick.

I just checked IND, the $58 each way is still there ... was hoping for SDF, but ended up booking BNA.

I was just looking last night, but luckily didn't book! 3 tickets, Houston to Orlando, Mondays in Sept./Oct., at $90 each way. Saved us $300 to wait 12 hours! Thanks so much! If I hadn't seen your message, I probably would have missed this sale!

I booked my airfare for Sept a couple of weeks ago. Based on this sale, I would get the sale price on our flight down but not flight back (it is a Sunday). Can I rebook my flight down, and if so, how do I go about this? Thanks! :)

For my dates in October, it's not there for the non-stop flights. I'll keep checking though.

$90 oneway:scared1:

Just booked and it saved me $200 RT for a family of 4...... :thumbsup2
