13. Don't compare your life to others. You have no idea what their journey is all about.

25. No one is in charge of your happiness but you.

45. Life isn't tied with a bow, but it's still a gift

31. However good or bad a situation is, it will change.

3. Life is too short to waste time hating anyone.

21. Burn the candles, use the nice sheets, and wear the fancy lingerie.

Don't save it for a special occasion. Today is special.

These are my top 3, or at least the ones I feel I truly live...but they are all good!

I got this in my email as well~printed it and hung it on the fridge:goodvibes

I can't choose just three~they are all really good...and true:thumbsup2

I used #7 just today. Perceived kick upstairs to new global job, and a friend and I are misarable cause neither of us wanted those jobs.

Had to choose 4:

1. Life isn't fair, but it's still good.

5. Pay off your credit cards every month.

18. Whatever doesn't kill you really does make you stronger

40. If we all threw our problems in a pile and saw everyone else's, we'd
grab ours back.

I agree with 10 and 18, you can't resist chocolate and I have always thought that what doesn't kill you make you stronger. I have three things of my own to add:
1. You can't control who your kids fall in love with so bite your tongue and be there for them when they need you and hope they are happy.
2. The world needs ditch diggers just as much as it needs doctors. As long as you are happy with your life who cares what your job is.
3. Friends come and go but family is there forever. You can't choose your family so accept them for what they are.

1. its okay to get angry with god, he can take it.

2. what doesn't kill you makes you stronger.

3. envy is a waste of time, you already have all you need.

No one is in charge of your happiness but you.

However good or bad a situation is, it will change.

Envy is a waste of time. You already have all you need.

It's not one of your 45, but my mother always says "This too shall pass" and I really agree with that sentiment. Basically, if you wait, bad things pass, as do good things, in the ebb and flow of life.

That is a fun read. The three (okay 4:rotfl:) I think apply most to me and the advice I tend to give as well are:
5 & 9 are related and I would count them together as one of my top 3.
5. Pay off your credit cards every month.
9. Save for retirement starting with your first pay check.
21. Burn the candles, use the nice sheets, and wear the fancy lingerie.
Don't save it for a special occasion. Today is special.
26. Frame every so-called disaster with these words 'In five years, will
this matter?'

My top 3:

28. Forgive everyone everything

33. Believe in miracles

42. The best is yet to come

At 62yo you can't have just 3 :rotfl2:

Whatever doesn't kill you really does make you stronger. (My Daddy's  favorite saying)

It's never too late to have a happy childhood. But the second one is up to you and no one else.

Burn the candles, use the nice sheets, and wear the fancy lingerie. Don't save it for a special occasion. Today is special.

No one is in charge of your happiness but you.

Believe in miracles.

God loves you because of who God is, not because of anything you did or didn't do.

The best is yet to come.

Life isn't tied with a bow, but it's still a gift

Disney Doll, like your dear mom, I also use this one a lot ~ This too shall pass :thumbsup2

I'll add ~ Don't sweat the small stuff :flower3:

I couldn't pick just three, so here are my top 6:

11. Make peace with your past so it won't screw up the present.

13. Don't compare your life to others. You have no idea what their journey is all about.

19. It's never too late to have a happy childhood. But the second one is up to you and no one else.

25. No one is in charge of your happiness but you.

27. Always choose life.

40. If we all threw our problems in a pile and saw everyone else's, we'd grab ours back.

And my Disney planning philosophy: #22. Over prepare, then go with the flow.

All of them are great. Here are a few of mine:

1. Listen more than talk.

2. Try to see other people's POV.

3. Pay yourself first. Dad always told me that one.

4. It's fine to say simply, "No.". The world won't stop turning if you don't do everything that is thrown your way.

DD- I heard, "This too shall pass.", quite a bit too. When you are young, it sometimes sounds like a mockery. When you get older, you know it's true. :)

I agree with 10 and 18, you can't resist chocolate and I have always thought that what doesn't kill you make you stronger. I have three things of my own to add:

3. Friends come and go but family is there forever. You can't choose your family so accept them for what they are.
