$45 for airport Hyatt and Marriot?

Ok, so I forgot what site I was on, I just googled priceline winning bid hotels or something similar and saw that 40 people in the last 12 months had winning bids that average $43 for the hyatt at MCO, and 70 people in 7 months had winning bids at Marriot close to MCO...when I look up the regular rates of these places, they are $150-$220! Are these reports really true?

Probably so. You can get great deals through sites such as Priceline and Hotwire. I utilize www.betterbidding.com and am able to see winning bids for various Priceline hotels as well ad determine what hotel is being offered through Hotwire.

I got the Hyatt 1 time for $40 to be exact it was 1/2012 . I was going to leave my brother at the airport and I didn't want to drive 2 hours to get home so I bid that and was accepted. I was really surprise when I saw the name. The parking is 12.00 extra.

I think it varies on the night of the week and availability. I just (like 5 minutes ago) got the Airport Marriott through Priceline with a bid of 55 dollars. With taxes it was 67.
I am really happy with that rate. The cheapest I could find it elsewhere was 189 on Expedia so I saved quite a bit. I was hoping for Hyatt but this will do just fine.

Wow....If I could get that rate per night in July I would fly in 1 night earlier and pick up my rental car in the morning. I am going to try for it. What hints can I look for on priceline, hotwire to know I am getting the Hyatt??
