I purchased some clothing for my daughter online at Old Navy and I need to return some of it. Problem is that I thought I had a 90 day return window. And its only 45!!!!!! I have all my receipts, packaging, ect.

Will they take them back in store or not? This is a hard lesson to learn now.

Does it have the return policy on the receipt? I had a similar thing happen to me at a different store. They couldn't give me cash back but did give me a store gift for the amount.

Well a store credit will be fine. But its past the 45 day mark and that is my concern.

Try it, be honest with them about thinking the policy was 90 days. In retail it's true about attracting more flies with sugar than vinegar. Ask nicely and you are likely to receive, demand rudely and they will often stick to the policies.

I'm the one returning a bathing suit to old navy in the winter, and I've never had a problem with a receipt. One time I didn't have a receipt, so they gave me store credit.

Good news, since everything I want to return is in perfect condition, and I have all the necessary receipts, they noted on my account to give me full credit for everything if I mail it in. They said it would be a one time exception, but I am really wondering if this is the rule and not the exception. Either way I learned my lesson.
