And I'm curious as to when I will receive my package!! I check the mail every day and nothing as yet....do they mail it at a certain timeframe before the trip? I am anxious!!

If I recall we got our Magical Express stuff 1st and then I think it was about 30 days before we received our Disney packet.

So probably within the next 2 weeks you should be recieving your packet information.

We leave in 44 days as well, so I checked our package and it states that travel documents will be mailed to you approximately 40 days out as long as your package is paid in full. I'm expecting to get ours some time next week.

It will be delivered Federal Express so if you're not home, a tag will be left on your door. Our fedex closes late here, so I usually grab the tag and pick it up when I get off work. They won't send you any email or notice to let you know that your package has shipped, you'll just receive a tag that they tried to deliver a package to you, of course, unless you're at home all day then you'll be there when they deliver.

I'm anxiously awaiting our package as well. It's a nice reminder that our trip is quickly approaching.

If the other stuff comes by Federal Express - I am in trouble. I have had nothing but trouble every time I've received something through FedEx.

UPDATE: Wouldn't you know that an hour after I posted this my info came. Just went and checked my mail and there was my package. It was through the regular mail service - not FedEx. We are staying two weeks so I booked the 4/3 package twice. Today I rec'd the info for the first week. So I'm guessing in about a week I'll be getting my other package.

I booked directly through Disney Travel (website) so my travel documents were delivered via the regular mail.
I guess it would depend on how you booked your travel. Does it come via Fedex if you booked through a travel agent?

Does it come via Fedex if you booked through a travel agent?

I do believe it goes to the travel agent. We booked with a travel agent and leave June 11, so I guess I will find out soon. If I remember right, she said she would call me when everything came in....but that was 6 months ago. A lot has happen since then.

I've always booked through Disney Travel Company and my package has always come by FedEx or UPS. Perhaps they've cut costs and started using the regular mail instead of FedEx or UPS?

Either way, I'm kinda glad it may be coming through regular mail. That way I can just grab it when I get home from work instead of feeling rushed to get to FedEx or UPS, only to have to wait until the truck gets there!

UPDATE: I just finished reading the Walt Disney Travel Company's Terms and Conditions and under Travel Documents it says your travel package will be mailed out approximately 40 days prior to your arrival, but guests will pick up tickets at the guest's hotel upon arrival.

In years past, I don't remember if they sent our tickets with our travel package, or if we got our tickets when we arrived on site. It sounds like they send your itinerary and vouchers and you need to present your vouchers to the front desk upon arrival.

Anyone who's been recently know how this works? If they're not sending your park tickets, it would make sense why they are using regular mail.

Your tickets will be attached to your room key so you will get them when you check into your hotel. Approx 30 days before you arrive you will receive an envelope from Disney with your vouchers for anything in your package, mini golf, free 5x7 etc. You will also receive a separate envelope with your yellow tags to put on your luggage for ME.

We booked our trip last minute - within 45 days of the actual trip and we got our packet quick. We got the magical express first then the rest about a week later. I guess they base it on how close your trip is.?
