I wonder if some of those people were purposely interviewing badly so that they wouldn't get an offer and could continue drawing unemployment or living in their parent's basement.

While conducting an interview once, I asked a candidate about their sales experience. She responded with her experience selling products at a salon, and then gave an example, by telling me that I might want to consider buying some deep conditioners to cut down the frizz.

Yes, I have heard that one... out of a girl who came to an interview in short shorts and a shirt that showed a bit too much.

We DID hire her.
She quit the 2nd day of training.

I did NOT buy a product, because I am a licensed hairdresser and, frankly, was INSULTED! Curly hair =/= frizz!

ps this interview was for a credit union, not a salon hahahahahaha

wow, some of those were pretty out there! I was sitting in on an interview for the Dept where I work and they asked "so why do you want to work for us?" The kid actually answered, that he doesent want to, he just doesent want to swing a hammer anymore.
