I'm up at 7 (I did say I was a commando, right?) and Stitch wakes the boys up at 7:30... (the phone message is quite cute the first few times!) We grab donuts at Maras, then a long wait for a bus to MK. It starts raining on the way. And getting colder. And rainier. We can almost see our breath. So we do what any intelligent family would do. We ride Splash first thing.. we are going to be wet anyway! We then do all our favorites multiple times. The boys especially like Buzz and DS 10 loves the transit thingy in Tomorrowland (Don't ask me, he is a strange child, but we love him). I insist they go see Mickey's Philharmagic. They crab, and crab, and complain in line, and LOVE IT! And we see it again! The crowds are lessening as it is now officially "see your breath" temperature. We see some poor kiddos in shorts, sandals and t's shivering. Um, there are places to buy warmer clothes, people. And you may want to pack for all types of weather in March in Florida. We are semi-comfortable in jeans, sweatshirts and ponchos.
On to Pecos Bills. We are standing in line behind a nice family (German, I think) with a mom, dad and two older teen girls. The dad is nicely rubbing his wife's back, and shoulders and arms and.... um... then it gets kinda dicey. There is some rather inappropriate not too subtle groping and ends with a deep open mouthed kiss with tongues. Wow, I guess these girls know their parents really love each other... and now the rest of us do, too. My DS 10 then said he didn't think he was really hungry anymore! "That is quite Pecos Bills" has become a new family line when we see something rather inappropriate.
We stay at the park for seven hours, until the kids beg for mercy. We again wait for quite some time for an AKL bus. Back at the hotel we change out of our wet clothes, warm up and order a room service dinner. Spent the evening watching the animals. They even did the "crazy chase" like our dogs do when they are feeling frisky. Very cool. Tomorow... the big surprise!!!!
