I think having her walk around in her human form with the pink dress would be great at EPCOT. At the MK it would not work as Ariel would be in her Grotto at the same time and that might cause confusion for kids. We ate with Ariel in March at Disney's California Adventure Park. She was wheeled in on a big rock and the kids formed a line to see her. It was a large lobby and not that many kids were there at the time. Ariel spent a lot of time with my daughter (who was in her Ariel dress and very ecited) .We had a problem there as Ariel autographed a Little Mermaid book she had and gave it to my 3 year old. She was so thrilled and kept telling everyone Ariel gave her a book. Later the manager, a 22 year old on a power trip, came over and demanded the book back, saying it belonged to the restuarant. We explained that Ariel had autographed it with my daughter's name and that she would hurt a 3 year old's feelings by taking it away. We offered to pay for the book. But she was very hard and continually asked for the book back. We decided not to make a big scene and let her have it while our daughter was dancing with Pluto and Goofy. By that time Ariel had left or she could have explained, maybe. My daughter was ok when we explained why "Ariel" needed the book back, so at least that worked out. Sorry to vent, but that was one of my few non-magical Disney moments.
