My 4 year old is 42" tall. Which of the water parks will have more slides for him to do? He will do anything he is tall enough for, but I don't like to take him into wave pools and lazy rivers. They are usually too crowded and people are running over him, at least here at White Water. I have tried looking for height restrictions, but I cannot get a good idea of which will have the most for him. Thanks!

I'm looking at a BB map right now. There are three slides he would not be able to do - Summit Plummit, Slush Gusher ( two very fast steep slides- so I don't think this would be a problem) and Downhill Double Dipper. At BB there is a fun area called Ski Patrol. My daughter (7 yrs ols) enjoyed this area. It has a t -drop, iceberg walk and some slides. They also have tike's peak which you have to be 48" or SHORTER to get into.

At TL the wave pool is very LARGE, I don't think you would find yourself crowded. The lazy river is nice too. When we went I found the park very crowded but was always able to make it into the lazy river. Relaxing and fun.

Whichever you choose, Have a great time.

Thanks for the info. It sounds like Blizzard Beach is going to have the most slides for him. My older son wants to do Shark Reef, but he is not a strong swimmer and I am not sure if they will let a 6 year old do it.

Our 4 yr old nephew loved Blizzard Beach. He spent a lot of time in both the Tikes Peak and Ski Patrol areas. He also loved the family raft ride (as we all did).

I've been to both parks, and love them both, but I think BB will have more to do for your 4 yr old.

IIRC, kids must be at least 8 or 10 years old to do Shark Reef. My daughter was interested, and I remember thinking that my son won't be old enough for a while yet.

Thank You!! Blizzard Beach it will be. I think he sas Shark Reef on a video and wanted to do it. Now I know he can't, so we won't even go near it. Thanks for the input.

When we were there in May, they let my barely 5 year old swim the shark reef. He was required to wear a life jacket. The face masks were a little too large, though, and he didn't really enjoy the experience as much as if he had been able to get a seal on the mask.

Hmmm, interesting... I wonder if the rule changed or if it just isn't followed. Man, I'm glad my daughter doesn't know this, or she'd be rather bitter!
