has 417 gone cashless or are there still manned booths on the highway. i know ramps may be unmanned

Main line tolls including the fake off-and-back-on ramps (read the signs) at toll locations still have manned lanes. Suggest you get a receipt each time.

Ramps are unmanned, but almost all still accept exact change in quarters.

The only exception AFAIK is the ramp between 417 & the Turnpike, which requires a cashless toll in certain directions.
