I scored a 2 bedroom villa @ SSR for the price of $318, not including tax. Booked for 8/20-8/29.

I've been calling WDTC for WEEKS to ask about codes. I NEVER get postcards, e-mails, anything. EVER.
I called tonight and asked if there were "any discounts available" or if there was a code attached to my name or household that I could use to add to my existing ressie made for WL (standard) in August.
It took calling three times and speaking to three different CMs in one nightbut I finally got us a 40% off room only code!!!!

The 1st CM offered my husband what equaled to 30% off but then told him that we would have to change our view ("no standard available at this rate") and if we didn't take the deal now "it may not be there when we called back." DH said he needed to discuss the offer with me and would take his chances. He then hung up and I called back.
The 2nd CM told me that there were "no codes attached to our household AT ALL," and discouraged me from cancelling my existing ressie "just in case a code came through later." Before I could answer her, our call was disconnected and I was switched to the phone survey.
The 3rd CM, who turned out to be the charm, said, "Oh, yes, I do see a code here, why, it's for 40% off room only!"![]()
WL, Woods View, 2 adults, 1 child, $1687.50 for TEN nights, again, room only, so no tix, and no dining plan.
I WAS offered a package; still 40% off the room, but full price for tix and dining plan. I was told I could add these on later if I wanted to for $3363.07 total (Resort stay, 10-day base tix for 2 adults, 1 child, plus the DDP for all three).
My advice? KEEP CALLING! And, most importantly, if you feel uneasy about your CM, politely hang up with them and call back.
Third time was a charm for me, and I hope for you too!!!!!
That sounds like a great deal!
Im starting to get the impression that codes are being used at the discretion of the CM's.

We are staying in a woods view room at WL Sept. 6-13, seven nights for $1,181.25, or about $168.00 a night.
We were so fortunate to get the 40% off code. I asked if we could buy our tickets and the DP, and she said that with our room only ressie, we could not buy the DP - if we did, we would not get the discount because it would be turned into a package, and the code does not apply to the package. It looks like lots of people are getting the 40% off and getting the DP as well. Am I missing something?

I just received a mailer for 40% off a select Disney value resort standard room. I've already booked our week in May using the 4/3 deal at Beach Club. We really want to try a deluxe resort this time and the 4/3 deal made this possible. So is the 40% offer of no use to us?
Note: TA told me the 4/3 deal is a little better than the 40% offer.
Your TA is correct, according to Mousesavers, with the 4/3 deal, the room rate is 43% off rack rate. Unless you were traveling for less than 7 days, the 3/4 is a great deal.![]()
