40% Bounce Back question

Hey all,

For those of you who stayed at WDW lately, what was the minimum number of nights you have to spend onsite to get the offer? 1, 2, 5?

We just returned last Monday and there was no 40% BB promotion going on. There is a BB promotion which includes values at 20% off and moderates and deluxes at 30% off. They are only for certain dates. You could stay just one night to book this offer, but you need to book before your checkout. I was a little disappointed as this was the same offer they had when we were there late October. I was hoping for the free ddp offer to come out again. We were there the end of January to the beginning of February.

I meant 30%, sorry about that. I had a friend that just came back and said she was offered the 30% off at check-in. So, basically, someone could fly down for one night and get the offer? Am I understanding it correctly?

Yes, you could fly down for one night and stay at a Disney hotel for that night and book the bounceback offer.

You could book the BB offer *if* there were any rooms available.
I just returned from POFQ, 2/3-2/7. I had the offer in my room, so I called on Sunday out of curiosity. For the dates of 4/7 - 4/9, the only things available in all of WDW with the BB offer for those dates were:
2 King Club Level rooms at CR;
a studio at Saratoga;
or a 1 bedroom at Saratoga.

I'd hate to see anyone fly down for those overwhelming options.

We recd the offer in our room at BC on 1/31...It was for:

40% off villas from 2/24-28 and 3/30-4/12/08
30% off deluxe from 1/6-2/2/08, 2/24-3/1/08, 3/30-4/12/08 & 8/10-9/27/08
30% off moderates with the same dates as deluxe.

You had to book before checking out and use the code provided. The flyer was placed next to the TV and had the dates highlighted on one side with a message to "Pick A Date Before It's Too Late!" with all the details on the back side. It did state the Villas offer was for most dates Sunday thru Thursday nights...but added you could "Ask about other dates."

We switched to BCV on 2/1 and saw no offers in the room(aside from the special "invitation" to hear about DVC and get a $100 gift card).

I had this same offer in the room last month, and I was able to get the 40% off on VWL for September dates, even though those dates weren't listed for the villas on the flyer. So when they say "Ask about other dates", don't be shy! The worst they can do is say no. I was able to book two weeks with the 40% off .
