Reading about your husband brought tears to my eyes. You and your daughter are so courageous for being strong and making the trip. It must have been difficult, but I hope it brought closure to you all.

She's a wonderful young lady. We just love Megan to pieces.

JJ really enjoyed looking at the pictures too. He kept saying, "I can't believe she was so little." Because when we refer to you Lisa vs Judy's Lisa he knows it as Big Lisa with Big Megan. The other as Little Lisa with Big Rachel.

I know, we have so many wonderful friends here on the DIS, touches us with all the support we receive


today have a bunch of stuff to get done to be ready for our crazy Friday and Saturday!
Megan has an overnight retreat friday at school for her Jazz choir group...at least its only 48 kids...please send me that the kids don't make me pull my hair out and that I get some sleep!
Saturday morning we have to leave the retreat early at 8am to get home, cleaned up and to Megan's dance Show-a-thon by 10am to help with set up and then the kids dance from 11 - 4...its our major fund raiser for the studio and always a fun day!
Sunday I'm going to be passed out on the couch and thankfully there is no school on Monday!

BLB has welcomed their first child!!! his name is ~ Kervin ~ and its such a little cutie pie today is Brit's 23rd birthday, what a wonderful gift! they've also started their sponsorship drive on the website!

That is so awesome!!! I will have to go see updates on their site.

yes it is!

Yes I will I lucked out not having to stay overnight at the last retreat that had almost 90 kids, so I'm thankfull this is about 45 kids! just hope I can sleep!

I survived sorry was to wiped out yesterday to post anything!
the kids were actually pretty well behaved Friday night and i didn get some sleep! the dance event was great and a long day! we raised about $1,200 so we were pretty happy with that! Megan has today off from school so we are enjoying another day to rest up!

not to much going on here today, think I'm coming down with a cold so going to take it a bit easy!

made our first dining ressie for Megan's bday trip yesterday for our first night (her actual bday) at Steakhouse 55! get to make our next one's tomorrow and the next 3 days....such a bummer DLR doesn't give you the same perks at staying on property to make the ressies all at once for your trip unless you wait until your last day is at 60 days...oh well don't want to risk not getting what we want!

have to call our property mgr today, think there is a leak in my garage roof, water is coming down from the footers....
