I'm visiting Feb 8-12 and was looking at a 3 day park ticket, which would be $316.69 with tax. This falls into the dates for the 4 Park Magic Value ticket, which is $362.10 with tax. That makes the 4th park day only $46 more, which is defintiely a steal.

We usually do not get park hoppers, but like to take an afternoon break. That said, the language specifically listed on the Value ticket sounds like there is no re-entry allowed. "These tickets are valid for one admission to each of our 4 theme parks—Magic Kingdom park, Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom park. One park per day. Tickets may not be used to enter the same park more than once. (my bolding, not theirs)

I used the chat feature on the website to ask a cast member -

who said, "They do permit re-entry into the park you went to earlier that same day. You would not be able to go to Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Park in the morning leave and then go to Epcot® later that night.... That is not referring to same day entry into the same park. That is referring to entering Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Park two days in a row. These tickets are good for 4 days in the parks but you have to use each day at another park that you have not visited yet."

I WANT to trust this cast member, but don't want to get stuck unable to re-enter and I know that guest services cast members seem to give pretty varied info in other areas (ie, sharing dining plan credits) so I was curious if anyone had first hand experience with re-entry.

They've done these tickets in the past and that has always been the case they only allow initial entry to each of the 4 parks once on the ticket but you can leave and reenter the same park on the same day no problem.

No first hand experience with them, but that is correct explanation - poorly worded by Disney, which leads to your question (by many others as well).

All WDW tickets allow re-entry into the same major park on the same day.
