4 Park Magic Ticket - Extended Expiration?

I bought some 4-Park Magic tickets from UT to be used this June. I have not linked them to MDE. Does anyone know if these tickets have a new expiration date beyond December 15? I cannot find any info on this ticket type. Wondering if I should just try to get a refund, but we are now planning for a January trip. Thank you!

All date-specific theme park tickets purchased through June 6, 2020 are extended to September 26, 2021.

I have these tickets as well bought from Undercovertourist. I have them linked to MDE. The ticket dates were automatically extended until 9/21.

I really wish they'd extend the Florida Resident Discover Ticket more. Have a buddy that bought 4 days with the park hopper that he was going to use 2 days in March and 2 in April. Obviously that didn't work out, so now have no idea when he's gonna come down. And add to that since he upgraded to a park hopper, most likely won't even get to use that (they extended the expiration date to 9/30/2020 back in April)

I linked some tickets after June 6, they were purchased in January. They have a Sept 2021 expiration now.

I was under the impression that if we do not plan on using them by 9/26/21 that we could take the value of these tickets and purchase tickets for beyond 9/26. When I called WDW ticketing yesterday the cast member I spoke to said our only option was to use them by 9/26. Does this sound right to anyone?

No. That is incorrect. WDW tickets retain value post-expiration, to be used towards a new date-based ticket or upgrade. Sorry you received bad info -- you may be able to make the change within MDE yourself.

Call again and ask another CM. Some do not know what they are talking about.

Let us know what type of answer you get when you call back. We probably won’t be using ours for a couple of years.

Thanks for the answers! I figured that was bad info. We are still trying to decide if we want to use our passes for a trip booked in May. We are leaning heavily towards not using them. We don't think it is worth it right now with the shortened park hours, limited entertainment(fireworks), no FP's, etc, etc. We are likely to either cancel or do a non-park Vero/WDW trip. We'll probably wait until AP's return before we return to the parks.
