Hi! Maybe a totally random question.
We're sailing concierge for the first time in 2021 on a 4 Night Bahamas Sailing on the Disney Dream.
Trying to figure out the request list for Shoreside...Does anyone have a preference for their dinner rotation, mainly where you eat for Pirate Night? I know the menu is the same is all 3 restaurants but wasn't sure if anyone had an opinion. I'm leaning towards asking for Enchanted Garden as my repeat because I'm also requesting we sit in the teacup tables.
Thanks in advance! Any other concierge tips and tricks would be appreciated as well. We're a family of 3, our daughter will be 3 at the time of sailing. We're in a 1 bedroom stateroom.

We request to be seated twice in Animator's Palate because we enjoy watching the pirate scenes on the TV screens.

YAnimators is good for pirate night as they have concept art on the screens.... at this rate it could be MDR+ cabanas for dinner rotations when cruising returns to space out some people in the MDR. Pirate night menu has never been my favourite

I’ll go with the others and say AP for Pirate night simply because of the screens.

Have you ever eaten in a teacup ? We dislike them very much and specifically request not be seated there. With a party of 3 in Concierge, they have a tendency to place us there if we do not mention anything. We dislike everything about those tables : the lack of view, except of the teacup right in front, the size of the table, the fact that one person must get up if the person in middle needs to, the small step where we always trip...

Totally respect your opinion! I have always liked this style of table at some of my favorite restaurants close to home since I was younger so I think its a nostalgia thing for me. I also like that our daughter can sit in between us comfortably with little room to jump down and off she goes, ahaha.

I never thought about AP showing Pirate themed slides on the screens so I'm definitely going to take everyone's rec on that, thank you so much!

We choose Royal Palace as our Pirate night because we always go to Palo that night. That still allows us to eat in each restaurant once.

We ask for AP twice, Animators is great on Pirate Night. Some people prefer to ditch the MDRs for pirate night altogether because of the menu, but we don't dislike it. I love EG teacups for the fun factor, but they can be a bit awkward unless you have small kids in your party. Once per cruise is enough for us, I wouldn't do it twice.

Personally, our family loves the teacups! I can see how others wouldn't....I definitely wouldn't want one with 3 adults as it could be cramped..but it works fine for us and DD. I agree with the others, if you can repeat AP that would be fun! Royal Palace is my least favorite so when we do a 4 night I request either EG or AP for the double. The pirates night menu is pretty sub-par...I wish they would change it up!

As for miscellaneous concierge tips...I think the cabanas are 100% worth it :) And, definitely take advantage of the light snacks/meals they put out in the lounge. It was a buffet style set up so I guess there's a possibility that it will change - post-covid - but we had breakfast and lunch in there most of the time. Quick and quiet :) There's also always a special concierge meet & greet which is fun (again...not sure post-covid??)
