4-night excursions....which are worth the $$

Hello:

We're going with a small group of friends this spring. The kids are 11,9, and 5 (three of them). We're thinking about the Our Lucaya excursion in Freeport and possibly the Atlantis day at the beach excursion in Nassau (since we're not sure we want to pay over $200/night per couple to get a room and use the whole facility). Are either of these worth it or are there other fun hotels with beaches that will let anyone either pay a cheap day rate or use it for free? Also, do many people actually stay on the boat? when we took the 7-day, the boat was empty on port days, and the pools were even closed. Thanks for the help!

I was on the 7 day Western and the boat was deserted like your cruise was. When I looked at the navigators for the four day cruise, the boat seems to be jumping with lots of things to do. That is really tempting me to skip the excursions and stay on the boat.
