Where would you choose and why?

You would like to think that not having the kids with us, the plan would be to slow down a bit, right? Nah...Keys to the Kingdom tour, Victoria & Alberts, lol. So...we will really not be in the room much more than to sleep.

We have stayed at all of the values, and CBR.

Thanks!

Well, you can't go wrong ANYWHERE--but I would try POFQ--quiet, more "adult" nice boat ride to DTD, go to POR and enjoy the bar, etc.

If you truly expect to only use the room for sleeping, why not stay at a Value? Use the savings to splurge on something else. If money were no issue for all involved, I'd stay at the Boardwalk (Jellyrolls anyone) or Beach Club (walk directly into World Showcase).

If you're all planning on staying in the same room, for 4 adults I'd either try to rent DVC points to give everyone some privacy or staying in one of the deluxes that sleep 5, like the Poly or CR. My DF and I stayed in POR with my sister in Sept, and it was tight, both with our belongings (2 suitcases, nothing outrageous) and the reality of being 3 adults in close quarters. The three of us stayed in the same room at the Poly last February and had no issues at all, the room was huge compared to the mods. If you're dead set on a mod, we liked the rooms at CSR, because they felt a little more upscale, and the divider to the bathroom is actually a door instead of a curtain, so if someone got up and out early, they could get ready without being as much of a disturbance to anyone who's still sleeping.

We stayed at the Values before we had kids (mostly because I AM a big kid), and have continued to because of the convenience with having kids on the younger side. I think (OK, know), that it will be a long while before we do anything other than that with them, so for this trip I was thinking that it would be nice to take advantage of doing something a little different.

Getting the values out of the way I would also vote for boardwalk :) it is such a wonderful resort for night life. But if deluxe is a bit to over the top I would vote for POFQ (as JennyDrake said). Hope you have a great vacation :)

I would stay in Epcot area.
You can get the best of both worlds...night life @ Boardwalk.
Character dining, theme parks and fun during the day.

No matter where you stay have fun!!!

Having no children. :sad1: We are well versed on "adult" accommodations. Our favorites: CR, YC, BW, SSR, Dolphin & Swan. For a moderate: I would pick PORS because of the "quiet" pools. They are very under utilized when we have been there and find the smaller mansion rooms have less large families, they are usually in the bayou.

Have a great vacation. :wizard:

Boardwalk is so nice for adults. You have all the restaurants and can walk by the water at night. Of course there's Jellyrolls for some adult fun too.

If you're looking at moderates, I have to put in a vote for Port Orleans Riverside. The boat to DTD is a nice break from the buses. The piano bar is lots of fun too. One night when the parks where insanely crowded I ended up in the POR piano bar. It was an unexpected blast.

I would pick the CSR. DH and I have stayed there nine times and most of those trips were without kids, including our 25th wedding anniversary trip with our best friends. They have queen beds, sliding door separating the bathroom from bedroom area, pool bar, outdoor lounge as well as an indoor lounge with a DJ on the weekend. You can also get a massage if you want, there are three quiet pools and the largest hot tub of all the moderates.

Seeing as you are doing Keys to the Kingdom and Victoria and Alberts I would suggest Wilderness Lodge. It is very romantic and cozy and is a boat ride away to MK and Grand Floridian. There is so much to do at the resort but is peaceful and quiet if that is what you are seeking. For a deluxe it is in the cheaper price range too.

I also love Beach club and have my first Boardwalk stay coming up so I love the Epcot resorts too and I think you can't go wrong with either one.
