4 more days until I leave for Brazil!!!

I am soooo excited!!! I leave Thursday for Brazil for 19 days! I am going with People to People with a delagation from my area (Chicago) and one from Minnesota. We are going to do all kinds of stuff like go through the rain forests and meet people in the government, and we're going to stay with a family for one night. I've met the people from my area that I'm going with, so they're not all total strangers. I can't wait! :jumping4:

People to People is a student ambassador program that was started by president Eisenhower. You have to go through a lot of work to get in, though, first a teacher has to recommend you to get a letter, then if you're interested you have to get 3 letters of recommendation (2 teachers, 1 not a teacher) and bring them to an interview that you have to pass, then you have to go to meetings every month and do reports about the country to learn more about it. Then, finally you get to go on the trip.
