4 GB SD Digital Memory card for $59.99

Does anyone think that this deal is to good to be true? Or has anyone bought anything from factory direct before? It just seams like to good of a deal to me. But I don't know a lot about photography. Any opinions?

This does sound a little too good to be true. I've purchased a number of 1GB and 2GB memory cards from Kingston, GXT and Pro Max in the past, but there doesn't appear to be a brand on the memory card in the Factorydirect.ca flyer. Do let me know if you decide to purchase it, and what the quality is... I tend not to skimp too much on memory cards since they hold precious photos that I've taken on holidays abroad, etc.

60 bucks for a 4 gig mem card seems a little to good to be of quality I only buy the Sandisk Ultra2 cards and the Extreme3 cards and I pay about 100 bucks for a 2 gig card but you certainly get what you pay for. If you do get it let us know how it works out for you I would be concerned with longevity of this card.

I saw Kingston 2 GB SD memory at Future Shop or Best Buy during Boxing Week sales for $29.99, and two PNY 1 GB SD memory (2 x 1 GB) for $24.99 as well, so good deals do exist for SD memory right now. Superstore / Loblaws also had 1 GB SD memory with a memory card reader for $19.99.

Some decent prices for sure but the memory was standard spees and not something we use in our camera and the kids have tonnes of SD cards for their Disney Mix Stick MP3 players. I want to find highspeed memory on sale for a decent price I was told Costco is going to be putting the Ultra2 Sandisk 2 gig SD cards on for about 60 bucks so I am holding out for that.
