Next June my mother & I & my son will be going to Disney World. We are thinking of having 4 days for MK since this is my son's favorite park.

My mom was suggesting that maybe each day we should concrete on certain "lands" in MK.

How would this work?
Day one Frontierland & Liberty Square
Day two Fantasyland & Toontown
Day three Tomorrowland & Adventureland
Day four work on the parades & shows & our favorite rides

Also during those times we are in the different 'lands' we will stop & make time to meet some characters. (one of my son's favorite things to do) :)

Do you think we would be able to get everything done (all rides, parades & shows) and even go on the rides we really loved 2,3 or even 4 times, depending on crowds?

btw--we are going to spend 2 days at Epcot, 1.5 days at MGM & 1.5 days at AK.
We might spend more time at AK if we are able to 'zip' through MK more quickly then we thought.
We are spending one day to drive down to Kennedy Space Center.

I would suggest you check out the Unofficial Guide to Disney and its touring plans for children in MK. I think by getting there ASAP in the morning you can do a lot in Fantasyland, move to other areas, and then TAKE a BREAK in the early afternoon (after lunch if you like) and move to another park. You need to think early am to get the most done in MK. I wouldn't try to spend four complete days there. On another day you could come in especially for the afternoon parade. And if you want to see FITS and Spectromagic, those nights will be crowded, but you can get better seats over in Frontierland.

I don't think you'll need a day and a half at Animal Kingdom.. If you get there first thing in the a.m. you can easily do it all in a day without rushing..

We try to do Epcot mainly in the evenings - a few hours at a time..

MK is MY favorite too - so we ALWAYS go back for our last full day to say goodbye to Mickey and the gang!! :)

Hi jacksonsmom,

If you're staying on-site, a Fantasyland/Frontierland/Liberty Square tour on Early Entry is certainly efficient. I usually like to pair Tomorrowland with Adventureland and Toontown (not necessarily in that order) on a second, non-EE day. I think you can do a comprehensive tour of the MK in two days. Use a third day to re-visit favorite attractions. I'd be surprised if you needed a fourth day.

dgaston, thanks for mentioning the Unofficial Guide's touring plans. New versions of Epcot, the AK, and a combined AK/Studios one-day plan should be out with the 2004 version at the end of this month.

Thanks for that suggestion. I should have said that we are NOT planning on visiting the park on the EE days. When we were there last June we found we got more done when we went first thing in the morning on a Non-EE day then on an EE day.

Really? How did you do that??
Last June we had a 1.5 at AK and we did NOT see everything. Both times we were there first thing in the morning too.
We really like to take our time in AK there is so much little detail things to see there.

I did forget to mention we will be taking breaks in the afternoon to go back to our resort or just have a nice sit down lunch somewhere.

Last June we spent 3 days at MK, with big 'lunch' breaks & we could have easily used one more day there to revisit our favorite rides.

The thing that took the most time was meeting characters. We spent 3 hours in Town Square just standing in line meeting characters. I know that ate up alot of our time but my son loved posing with characters & getting their autographs & I really did not mind. I know the same thing will happen again this June, so that is why we figured 4 days at MK.
Btw--yes, we will have character meals planned but alot of those characters in Town Square are not part of a character meal. :)

Thank you everyone for your suggestions so far
