I'm thinking of doing a Universal trip on kid's Easter Break. I know it is extremely busy. Would it be possible to cover the two parks in 4 days, one park per day, without express passes? I can't afford to stay onsite. Would park to park be better? Or are we just going to end up standing in line for four days? 2 adults, 2 kids (12 & 8). We do the coasters. Thanks for advice.:)

Four days will be plenty of time to do everything you want in both parks but you will be standing in line. There's only one way to avoid it...stay onsite but it's pricey during that time of year. For the price difference, you could go ahead and get the park to park tickets which will allow unlimited hopping for the four days. I think it would take some stress off knowing you can go between parks and not have to do everything that day...you know?

If you don't mind switching hotels, you could stay onsite every second day and still get your 4 days of early admission and unlimited express.

thanks for the advice, I may look into both ideas... Or maybe the kids can just miss a few days of school:rolleyes1
