I'm leaving for Disney ON THURSDAY and I am SO UNPREPARED! :faint: I just finished being in a show and have been so caught up in other things that I basically forgot I am only days away from leaving. Does anyone have any ideas for me to get into the "Disney spirit" or what I defiantly need to pack, because I'm seriously not ready!

You were in a show? Cool!

Well, I just posted what I ALWAYS pack on this thread:
http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=3202262

Don't worry, I procrastinate a lot and always have time to finish everything. A tip would be that overpacking in Disney is so much better than underpacking, unless you're flying. We always drive

Maybe...
*watch some movies
*make a list of must do rides
*listen to Disney music
*pack

I don't know

Thank you for your tips! Yes, I just finished playing "July" in Annie and the "post-show depression" has really taken over and I basically have been procrastinating everything about my trip. I am flying so I will really need to balance out what I need to take with me.

That's really cool!

Oh, well, packing wise I'm not sure I can help. I've never been in a plane before, so....

I used to fly every time we went, but planes have made me more nervous as I've gotten older. So you're lucky.

I would definitely bring Disney shirts, a camera, umm maybe a jacket, too, just in case, and anything else you want.

To get excited I would listen to Disney music, watch Disney movies, and fish around on the Disney world web site :)

Every time I've gone to Disney, I've flown. Pack your shorts and t-shirts, a few pairs of pants, a few sweatshirts/jackets(the weather varies, and you get soaked by rain sometimes), phone and earbuds, and lots of Disney stuff. Also sunscreen, I always put some on and never got sunburned. I went in September, and it was awesome! It helps to think about rides and/or shows (Fantasmic, the Muppets, etc.) you want to go to.

Hey, I'm leaving on Wednesday! Personally, I like to listen to Disney music and watch Disney movies. And looking at all my old pictures from the last trip usually brings on the nostalgia for me. Oooh, and making a countdown, which might seem kinda late, but hey, it really helps when you have a constant reminder (apps are really good for that too, showing the number of hours, minutes and seconds). As for packing, it looks like it'll be kinda chilly (highs of 60s/low 70s). Pack what you want, but try to wear your heaviest clothing (jeans, tennis shoes, etc) on the plane there that way you won't have as much weighing your luggage down.
So excited for you! Just think, after the long hours you've put into that show, you can grab a dole whip and make your way though Magic Kingdom! :cool1:

I like going to AllEars and looking at pictures of the resort I'm staying at and watching YouTube videos of my favorite rides! As far as what to pack, you should put some Mickey ears in your carry on for the plane so you can put them on when you arrive in Orlando (or before you even leave!) We get those yearly Disney vacation planner videos and I love watching those to get me in the spirit. HAve an awesome trip and i hope this helps!!

I would log on to www . disneybound . tumblr . com

The girl who runs it has a little Disney music playlist on her blog, and it's wonderful :thumbsup2

Also, don't stress. If you can, download pinterest and look up packing list. It'll give ya lists and tips on how to pack effectively. (For someone with anxiety, this is a life saver!!)

Have a magical vacation! :woohoo::hug:

Small world! I was just Miss Hannigan in Annie last year, and I'm leaving friday!

What I've been doing is making disney boards on pinterest. It's fun to look up cool pictures and put them all in a board where you can go look at them when you need some disney spirit. Also, the music is a sure way to get you in the mood. I've also been looking up vlogs on youtube that people make in the parks...and joining this site. I think 'Frozen' comes out wednesday? You could always go see that, or wait until you're there and see it at the theater in downtown disney.

Hope your trip is magical!
