Hi! I am going to Orlando next December with my family. I would love to get us the 4-day, 4-Park Magic Ticket, but right now those tickets can be used only until September 2023. Do you know if Disney usually holds a similar promotion for the winter months? Do we have a good chance of getting tickets for around 99 dolars a day? We dont mind not having a park hopper and not being able to repeat parks.
For context, we are splitting our 12-day vacation between Disneyworld and Universal parks. We already have 14-day tickets for Universal’s 3 parks.
Thanks in advance!
Elisa

Very unlikely. December is very much high peak season at WDW, especially around the year-end holidays. Special tickets -- and special offers in general -- are more likely to occur at "low crowd" times when WDW is trying to entice more people.

I'd say no. The only reason these tix work for the times they're offered is crowds are much lower than in December, thus there's no need for disney to have knowledge of which park you'd be going to. Disney is offering these tix to offset their summer slump and know that they need to boost sales.

To answer the 2nd part...yes, you can get WDW tickets for under $99/day. It depends on your exact dates and how long you want to visit at WDW -- but for Dec. tickets dip under $99/day starting at 8-days (one-park-per-day). The extra days get less and less expensive to add-on once you get to about a 5- or 6-day ticket.

I'm a little confused about your plans. You have a 12-day vacation planned, and intend to split that across WDW and UO. How many days do you plan at WDW? You mentioned you already have 14-day tickets for Universal? I honestly didn't know Universal offered tickets for that long, but maybe it's a special offer.

Thank you, Thesouthernbelle and lanejudy!
I am looking for 3 or 4-day tickets for Disney right now…. But with the sky high prices, we will maybe settle for only 2 days.
As for the 14-day tickets for UO, it was also a pleasant surprise for me to find those! We were originally looking for a 4-day park-to-park ticket, but I ended up finding this longer ticket (14 days, 3 parks, park-to-park) for roughly the same price. We are from Brazil, and bought it through a (very traditional) travel agency from here, so maybe it is an offer that is not available at the American market?
Since the price was so good (around 350 USD for each ticket) we won’t mind “wasting” a few of the 14 days.
On the other hand, it doesn’t seem to make sense to spend more than we paid for 2 weeks at UO for a couple of days in WDW…. As long I would love to go back, my kids are teenagers now and, apart from Star Wars, they are not as interested in WDW anymore : (
