Saturday 24th September
Again we were up early this morning and we all met at 8.30am
I love the Cars Topiaries at the entrance
We got the bus to HS and got there for rope drop
We went straight to Toy Story Mania for fast passes.....I couldn't believe the line, we had a return time for 10.20am
Next stop was staring rolls for breakfast....well....why is it only acceptable to have this for breakfast in Orlando....
It was delish and massive....Red Velvert Cup Cake...yum....we did share this, honest
After our very healthy breakfast we decided to ride Rock and Roller Coaster, this was a first for me and DD....she was so excited that she was tall enough....I was a bit aprehensive as I'm not a lover of the big rides
.......I screamed all the way through it, I'm glad the music is loud otherwise everyone would have heared me. I was sat by my sister and when the ride finished, she took one look at me and knew I hadn't enjoyed it. Moli also looked as if she hadn't enjoyed it......how wrong was I.......she wanted to go back on.
Every trip,I take this photo of DS....it's great to look at him growing up
We bumped into stitch, there was nobody waiting to see him......so we took the oppurtunity to say hello. He was great fun, sticking the pen up his nose and wiping it in the kids....they thought it was great fun
We then used our fast passes and rode Toy Story Mania.....all 10 of us love this ride and would have loved to do it again today...but sadly there were no fast passes left for today
DS and DH couldn't wait to try the new Star Tours....and to be honest, we all loved the changes they have made to this ride, definatly one of our favourites
Muppet 3D was our next stop, Moli loves this and always trys to grab the objects that come to you. Everytime I watch this I always think how dated it is, especially compared to Mickeys Phillharmagic.
The kids had their Phineus and Ferb tshirts on today, so we thought that we should get a photo with them.....the line was very long but the show they pretend to record, with help from the audience was starting.....Moli, being the shy girl she is
...volunteered to take part. She had a great time rocking with an inflatable guitar. There was a photopass photographer taking photo's.....we were able to view them at the shop at the park entrance and get them added to our photopass.
We waited about 45 mins to see P&F.....this was a long time for us....we don't like to wait.....but it was worth it.....the kids spent ages with them, they loved the kids tshirts and made a fuss of DS who had a checklist of things to do on the back of his top.
They then showed Ieuan and Dafydd how to pose like them
We stoped off in Pizza planet for some drinks as we were all very hot after standing out in the sun for so long.
Lunch today was at 50's Prime Time, we had a 1.35pm reservation, we checked in but it was packed in there, we could hardly move. We waited about 20mins to be seated and had a great server.....she definatly felt like part of the family.
I couldn't decide what to have, I love the pot roast but I wanted to try the fried chicken.....I then found the sampler, pot roast, meat loaf and the fried chicken......I was so glad I had this, it was stunning and I cleared my plate...yum. For desert I had dad's chocolate brownie deisert.....it was way too big for one and I only ate half but again it was lovely......I was also allowed to order a milkshake as my drink on the DDP....they do the best Milkshakes, so we all took advantage, but they are so filling........sorry forgot to take photos
After lunch we were all feeling tired, so we headed back to AKL for a bit of pool time.
